A member of the German Criminal Investigation Division (BKA) displays Crystal Methamphetamine (Crystal Meth) during a news conference at the BKA office in Wiesbaden November 13, 2014. Police found 4 kilograms of Crystal Meth and 2.9 tons of Chlorephedrine, a base substance to produce Crystal Meth, during a police raid in Leipzig on November 5 and November 8, 2014. Single injection can erase memories associated with meth use, scientists claim

Straight from P.K. Dick to a laboratory…  Read the article very carefully. This is a kind of chemical lobotomy that has only been tried on mice, and yet the scientists claim all sorts of things well beyond the scope of the actual experiment.

But wait there’s more!

There was one problem: Actin is a key protein used in many bodily functions, and impairing its work, even for a short time, would be fatal.

Now, the same lab appears to have found a solution – blebbistatin, a drug that hampers actin function in just the brain, without affecting the rest of the body.
