Mistress America – My Review

Okay with Greta Gerwig’s signature quirk overload and a lighthearted twist on neurotic college-aged writers, I really did laugh a bunch at Mistress America. Noah Baumbach has been hit and miss. This time he pulls off a silly indie hit.

The climactic confrontation was done well enough that eight different characters are lost pursuing their own ends simultaneously, but it all comes crashing to a dead stop.

Some may call it lightweight, but I need more laughs these days. Send in the clowns.
