Mad Max Chinese Knockoff

I think this laughable shlock can instill a better appreciation for George Miller’s masterpiece.

  • They’re really trying.
  • They have a budget.
  • Stunts, costumes, locations.
  • Highly motivated to make their film feel exactly like Fury Road.

And the failure is so glaring in every single shot. The director really has no idea what makes for a powerful action sequence or a shot. His imitation and resort to childish computer explosions is repulsive, but expected, I think.
