Finally caught this movie after stopping it once. The soundtrack starts off awfully intrusive, rather pretentious. These can go either one of two ways: shlock or greatness.
Was it great?
The film features some heavy acting and some core issues about the obscenely rich and their world, their priorities.
Anya Taylor-Joy, who could thrive as a supermodel, brings us on a journey toward cold psychopathy. She is spurred on by the admittedly psychopathic Olivia Cooke, who feels nothing about anything. The interplay, and the star-crossed machinations of these two, are an interesting study, and this provides the plot.
Because Anya has a step-daddy she doesn’t like.
Is that enough? Or should I say more?
Fuck it. Watch the movie.
